i havent blogged in ages and i'm a freaking zombie right now!
Just had GP and Chinese paper today. Needless to say, i'm gonna flunk chinese but i hope i do okay for GP. Amazingly i love Ducro.
Okay just a random update of silly things that happened.
- i saw pau last sat, and we came up with this term - "Mandy" which actually is the combination of "man-candy" ie, our male eye candies which have no other purpose other than to serve as our mandies. Hoho
- i'll never look at the cross overhead bridge connecting TCHS and NJ the same. But we never saw the rat again...
- i have yarn's pressie from us with me. HEAR THAT YARN. OMG I JUST LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG. Hahha you will wait for your pressie. Good girl!
- i'm not studying for econs
- i think i made up my mind about what i want to do in the future. This scares me.
- i still havent finished studying... i'm not even half-way through. In fact i have no way of gauging myself because i skip so much here and there. Yippe
- i need to exercise. My muscles cramp up so often so easily nowadays this grosses me out. They are demanding for a work out dammit.
- Sex and the city was damn cute last night.

i think women these days are still subjected to some form of abuse from men. Not direct, not physical. Maybe psychological abuse in a sense... in the form of words and actions especially. Maybe we dont realise it. Maybe we just let it go thinking that they dont mean it or something... And just laugh it off and think, "well alright you're off this time but next time if you make it any less subtle then..." Well it never happens cos you get used to it. Thats why i think it is important for you girls to stand up for yourselves when you think some guy is getting out of line. Tell him straight to the face, "fuck you" if needed. It might wake him up abit and make him realise this girl still has some bite in her. And maybe he'll respect you abit more.
My mom once told me before, never let any guy treat you any less than you deserve to be treated. Never let anyone bully you in any sense, you must stand up for your own right when you know its only correct to do so. i really do admire my mom alot. She competes in a field that is male dominated, and has earned the respect of both men and women. My dad respects her for the woman that she is, and i think that that is also what has helped strengthen their relationship over the 25 odd years of marriage.
Kudos to women.

So friday, we decided to be super chao mugger and stay back after school to mug in the library. I'm proud to say its my first time, and i did feel albit apprehensive, being all virginal about this whole experience and all. We started off the end of school playing abit of strip bridge (again) though damn this time no harland to tekan. Anyway my luck that time was super lousy... and i forgot to wear my buttons and school badge again. So off went my shoe... Anyway we stopped before it got too tough because we couldnt find a kahki. Damn its like everyone is avoiding us! Must be regina.
Then reg and siewee and i went library to mug mug... jiahwa was having indian dance. Then halfway reg say need to go get dunno what form for some work experience during the hols. Okie lah so i followed her... we got alot alot of forms (just in case) then we headed to the ampitheater to pass them to her friend... There was a mooncake festival on at the ampitheater!! Whooie we saw Mdm Woon (form) sing oh so beautifully (yes she can sing la) then saw some stupid skits... Then we called siewee over cos got free mooncakes. So we stole some mooncakes and pomelos (cos not supposed to eat) although they got caught its ok. The mooncake wasnt great anyhow.
Then after that got SPARKERS and LANTERNS!!! Hahaha with real fire. They two damn scardey cats la. Ask them take picture with sparkler they stretch their arms as far away as possible cos they scared kena burnt. Like hello very good. Wan me to take picture of a distorted (ARRGH) face or an arm with a pretty sparker? Cannot fit lah!! Then after that we went to take more candles and lanterns... Then we went behind to the carpark to burrn stuff.
We also took a picture of regina and siewee in the dark holding a lantern each... DAMN FREAKING SCARY i tell you. Very ghostly. Woo. Then after that it was the usual burn lanterns burn work attachment papers try to burn each other... Quite funny. Jiahwa joined us halfway!
Amazingly, we had the strength to return to the library and continue with our work... Arguing over sp3 hybridisation and stuff... Really very pek chek-ing when you dont get concepts, you know. Stayed until 9! So fun. Anyway i tell you all something very sad. You know all the photos i took? No more :( Cos i returned my phone... But nvm i know siewee has a couple of them!!

hello dear internet. i havent used you all week. Used... teehee. Ok i shall tell you something terrible that happened. So last sunday i got a new phone (whooie finally right, my old pok kai tiny phone can just THROW into the sea already) ok i got a T630 Ericsson, the black one... i think it looks all pretty and stuff, and i was soo freaking happy when i got it!! i bet my friends were all jealous. Especially those with super laggy Motorola crappy phones who cant type fast fast ;) Hahaha... ok nvm. i say "were" because during the week, my pretty phone starting COCKING UP. WTH... brand new somemore.
You see, sometimes it feels like playing a bit of a game with me. It especially likes the "Open Shut Them" game. When its in the mood, it just decides to on and off and on and off as it pleases. Which so happens to be at the time when i'm getting a call or i'm messaging. i think it enjoys hearing me saying "fuck". Anyway so today i went back to the shop with my daddy... he demanded to get a new phone, the nice guy was saying he'll try cos they supposed to try to repair it first... Anyway i got a replacement phone. Some ah beng coloured brown flip open nokia one. i bet its an ah beng previous owner. Still got the "MAMBO" logo big big in the middle of the screen. Its simply chio la.
Nvm i'll be getting a new pretty phone!

So the other week they went to Penang and Pipi Island for a honeymoon... So sweet right. Yeah then anyway, there they bought me so much stuff!! They got me earrings and a silve bangle and a few nice pants and a pair of nice shorts and you know what my mom got me from duty free!!! SHE GOT MY FAVOURITE SCENT!! Tommy Girl!!! Omg i could just hug her to death... She's so damn sweet and nice and wonderful she knew that was my favourite! ^-^ How can i ever complain as a daughter with her being so sweet to me??

Let me tell you something very personal to me. You may think its silly or sad or even pathetic, but it means alot to me.
Just yesterday i rubbished my night away watching tv. Yes, just average normal tv. i cannot believe how in the WORLD i can FORGET that Sex and the City was on!!!!!!! i didnt realise my dire mistake until i saw the clock that gleefully read 11:15pm. Then i started cursing to myself... Flipped to HBO and saw some stupid brainless action movie on, the cursed somemore and anxiously flipped to the newpaper tv section. There, my heart just completely dropped when i saw the small print : "Sex and the City --- 10:00pm"
No words can describe the pain and sense of loss and helplessness i felt. Seriously, i tell you. i sat there in my chair for a good 3 minutes just in a daze, like, "what the fuck did i just do?!" Its the worstest feeling ever... and i felt so horrible and bad and like i couldnt forgive myself. Then i remembered they showed it one more time over the weekend. So i checked the listings for sunday... There was none. i wanted to burn down HBO i tell you. i was super duper upset and totally lost. Then i remembered, hey it could be a saturday rerun... So i checked. And YES ITS ON A FRIGGING SATURDAY omg i was so estatic, insanely crazily so overjoyed i thought i could burn down HBO and rebuild it in a hour flat. OMG i was so greatful. To whoever up there that allowed me a second chance at this wonderful pill of ecstacy that i can only indulge in once weekly.
What is the moral of my story, you might ask? Well. Be thankful for all the little things that you have that keep you sane and happy. It is important to appreciate these things, because when they arent there anymore, the feeling of complete helplessness and lost is disgustingly great and it weighs you down so much you dont think you can even lift your head up an inch.
i thank you, Sex and the City for being my drug of choice per week. This is one of the few rare times that i have freaked out over missing something like this. i am so obsessed with you, i think i am in love with you. Whats to love, you might wonder? Well, everything in fact. i love the ladies i love carrie i love the city of new york i love the men they meet there i love their take on love and life i love it all.

My daily does of UP Open Tennis is whats keeping me living, i tell you. Shit i still have caught my federer play yet! Watched Srichaphan lose in some upset... he shouldnt have lost that game i tell you. Watched Hewitt beat Lopez which was alright, he was in good form anyway. Agassi and Roddick are having pretty easy routes and havent had any troubles so far. Now watching Henman vs Kiefer... Henman catching up. No preference to either players. OMG i just realised Grosjean lost to Tommy Haas?? Didnt realise Haas was that good... Oh shit and Ferrero lost. One of my favourite players... but nvm Federer still in! Heehee
Today was boring. i did some work, slept half the day away and rubbished the rest. i ate quite abit too. Like Blackforest Cake from Mezza9 (Hyatt Scotts) and then Grapefruit and then ice cream and then alot of other rubbish. Hoho. I'm becoming a vince.
